SSL certificate monitoring

Turn on Check SSL certificate for any HTTPS monitor and Uptime Cloud will track the target’s TLS certificate:

  • It records the issuer and expiry date.
  • It flags the certificate as an issue when it becomes invalid or when it’s expiring within 14 days.
  • Expiring/invalid certificates surface in the dashboard’s SSL issues KPI and can trigger an SSL alert notification.

SSL checks run once a day (they don’t need to run every minute). SSL is off by default on new monitors — enable it where it matters.
